We do manufacturing
At Red Ant, we don’t just design products – we build them too! We have the equipment, know-how and expertise to help get your designs manufactured quickly and cost-effectively.
Our in-house manufacturing capabilities include high speed SMT and through-hole component placement, reflow and wave soldering, sheet metal fabrication, surface coating (paint and power-coat), laser cutting and etching, 3D printing, firmware programming, and product testing. And in conjunction with our local manufacturing partners, we can provide high speed CNC machining and plastic injection molding services as part of our capabilities.
Need something prototyped? We can help out there. Got a sudden increase in orders that has your production team under the pump? No problems – we can help with extra production capacity to get those orders out the door on time.
So, whether it’s small, ad-hoc production runs or larger, more regular production, we have the capabilities to get the job done. Not only can we build your designs, but we can test, approve, box and ship them for you as well.

We do compliance
As anyone experienced in the Product Development game will tell you, getting your product designed and built is only half the battle. Making sure it complies with relevant national and international standards can sometimes be the biggest, and costly, part of the whole development process. And finding out late in the development process that you’ve not quite got it right can cause major headaches in terms of redesign costs and time to market.

Identifying what standards and regulations your product needs to comply with early on in the development process is critical to getting your product to market quickly. We’ve over 30 years product development experience, and in that time, we’ve been exposed to lots of different standards, in lots of different industries and countries. So, we know how to extract the key information from standards and condense them into a format that your product development teams can easily interpret.
And standards are always changing. So, whilst your product may have been compliant in the past, that may not always be the case. We can help you assess changes to product standards, and the impact this will have on your product design, so you can keep on top of your compliance obligations.
